Reverie episode 6 video: Matters of life and death
Because of Wednesday marking the Fourth of July holiday, there is no new episode airing on the network tonight. Smartly, NBC is waiting until July 11 to continue the story of Mara Kent and Onira Tech, a move that feels especially wise when you stop and consider what the ratings are. This is a story that, despite how entertaining it may be, needs every viewer that it can get. It has not become an enormous target of viewers and while we hope that will change, there are no guarantees.
While you do wait for whatever lies ahead on the series, we suggest that you take a look at the video below for a little more insight regarding what is coming up. Episode 6 is going to involve a life-or-death case for Mara as the subject of the latest Reverie investigation is a dancer who eventually finds herself on the brink. Why is this so dangerous? Basically, death in Reverie is the same as death in real life, which is probably why the safe word of “Exodus” was first created to ensure most people avoid this situation. It’s going to be another tricky rescue mission for Mara, but our questions still remain regarding whether or not this episode will explore more of what’s happening with Mara in the present, whether it be with the people she has lost or with original Onira Tech co-founder Oliver, whose stability was apparently in question long before he ever entered Reverie.
There is one element of Mara’s life that will be explored here that hasn’t been already — her romantic history. You can read more about that over at the link here. This episode will, hopefully, set up the story for a few more twists and turns the remainder of the season.
