While Lucifer proper may not have an official San Diego Comic-Con panel this year, rest assured there is still a way to see Tom Ellis!
Today, TV Guide Magazine confirmed that Ellis will be one of the people in attendance for their upcoming Fan Favorites Panel on Saturday, July 21 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific time at the Indigo Ballroom. Ellis, per co-star Lauren German, is the only Lucifer star attending the convention this year, but he will be joined on this panel by such other notable names as Eliza Taylor (The 100), David Mazouz (Gotham), Amber Nash (Archer), Cameron Cuffe (Krypton), Summer Bishil (The Magicians), Bob Morley (The 100), Robert Buckley (iZombie), and Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp). Basically, this is going to be a panel of a lot of really cool people discussing a number of various topics. (Read more about the panel by heading over to the link here.)
As for how many different Lucifer teases we’re going to get from the panel, possibly a few — just remember that production for season 4 is not starting until later this summer, and the writers only recently began penning some scripts. Maybe someone has started to relay some good news to Ellis about what’s coming, but that’s the best that we can hope for. Yet, we do think that there will probably be some other opportunities to hear from Tom at the panel beyond just this panel.
New episodes of Lucifer will likely start streaming over on Netflix starting in the new year, but obviously we’re going to deliver your way any and all updates on the show the moment we have them — including some additional discussions. If you’re unable to attend San Diego Comic-Con, there is a Lucifer convention happening in the United Kingdom early next year, and you can head over to the link here in the event you want to get some more news on that subject.
Excited to see that Tom Ellis will be making his presence known at SDCC this year, even if there is no full cast panel? Share right now in the attached comments!
