Salvation season 2 episode 3 preview: Will Grace lie under oath?

Jennifer Finnigan

What’s coming up on Salvation season 2 episode 3? Let’s just say that the show could be swapping out genres yet again. We’ve seen it be a survival thriller and a political drama, but moving into next week, the show is heading to the courtroom. “Crimes and Punishment” is an hour that looks to challenge many of the characters in unexpected ways, especially when it comes to Grace as she has to do what she can in order to protect others by lying under oath. That’s a tough thing to ask someone to do but Grace understands the delicacy of the situation. With that in mind, you have to think that she is going to do everything that she can in order to help others.

Below, the Salvation season 2 episode 3 synopsis offers up a little bit more news on the subject of what you can expect to see next:

“Crimes and Punishment” – Loyalties are tested when Grace is asked to lie under oath. Also, Darius tasks Liam with a dangerous mission, and a shocking act of violence plunges the nation into chaos, on SALVATION, Monday, July 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Actor Jonathan Silverman guest stars as White House counsel for President Mackenzie’s administration, Roland Cavanaugh.

Basically, this episode is giving you a notable guest star, a difficult court battle for Grace, and also Liam finding himself in a rather difficult spot. Basically, it’s a reminder that Salvation isn’t the sort of series that is easily going to push its characters into some tight spots — they are going to throw them in head-first in order to determine whether or not they can make it through to the other side. There is some excitement that comes along with that, but also plenty of nervousness since you don’t quite know what is coming around any corner.
