Suits season 8 promo: Harvey, Donna, Louis, Sheila, and more

USA has unleashed on us another glorious Suits season 8 promo, and at the center of this one is a few reminders as to what makes this show so great. You’ve got characters flirting, characters threatening, and then also the possibility that Sheila may be pregnant with Louis Litt’s baby. There’s also talk of a sex robe and newcomer Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl) threatening to turn people into puddles.

Even though the cast for Suits is now very much different than it once was a year ago, this actually feels a little bit more like signature Suits than much of what we saw on the show over season 7. Some of the playfulness seems to be back, especially with Donna and Harvey, and the snark is still very much at the forefront. It also feels like we’re going to 100% appreciate getting to see more of Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull), who hasn’t been on the show too much as of late due to her duties over on 12 Monkeys.

The only person who really isn’t a central part of this new promo is Dule Hill (Alex Williams), and hopefully that is something that is going to change when the show itself premieres. As a diehard Psych fan there is something that feels perfect about him becoming a part of another USA series.

Suits season 8 is premiering on USA come July 18, and for the time being there are questions aplenty about the long-term future. There is no indication as to whether or not this will be the final season and beyond that, there’s not too much information out there about the Jessica Pearson spin-off at the moment either. We don’t anticipate too much crossover between the two series, but do be prepared to see a lot of speculation around the spin-off in the months to come.
