Elementary season 6 episode 10 video: Morland, Sherlock reunite

Elementary season 6 episode 10

In the new Elementary season 6 episode 10 sneak peek below, you can see the long-awaited return of John Noble as Morland Holmes. Yet, to go along with that you’ve got another reminder that they are not meeting up under the most ideal circumstances.

At the end of this past episode, Sherlock learned for the first time that his brother Mycroft was dead, and now, both he and his father need to piece together the aftermath of that. In this video (via TVLine), one of the things that we do learn here is that Morland had named Mycroft his heir in his will, which leads to a pretty awkward conversation between father and son. We’ve got effectively here another reminder that the relationship between Sherlock and Morland is far from stellar, but it seems as though Holmes wants to take advantage of this opportunity in order to see if some of the ice between the two of them is going to thaw at all.

If there is anything that Sherlock has learned from what happened at the end of this past episode, it is that holding grudges and resentment had led to very little other than more hurt. It’s something that they need to address and they should address. Otherwise, there are going to be even more problems and heartbreak in the future.

Before we go, though, here’s one more question we wonder: What were things like between Morland and Mycroft leading up to the latter’s death? We hadn’t seen either Morland or Mycroft for some time on this show, and we do like to think that Elementary is a living, breathing ecosystem where characters do make important decisions off-screen.

No matter what happens in this episode, be prepared for things to be emotional. This is one of the most important episodes of Elementary all season long.
