What’s coming up on Power season 5 episode 1? We should start things off here with the title in “Everyone Is Implicated.” This title alone suggests that there is a significant amount of danger ahead for many different characters; that’s what happens when you are reeling from the aftermath of losing a child and desperate times are calling for desperate measures. Ghost is doing everything that he can to find some element of stability in his life. Yet, in doing that, he is teaming up with two of the most-unstable people possible in Tommy and Kanan. The old band is getting back together and we imagine that there are going to be many different problems that come with that.
Of course, these are far from the only problems that you can expect to see within this episode. The Power season 5 episode 1 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers some additional insight when it comes to what you can expect:
In the Season 5 premiere, James “Ghost” St. Patrick forms a dangerous alliance with his brother-in-arms, Tommy, and mortal enemy, Kanan. Meanwhile, Angela is implicated in [a] murder and turns to an unlikely ally; and Tasha enlists LaKeisha to protect Tariq.
This episode is going to be one of the most important of the entire season, largely because it sets the stage for everything that follows. For Angela, being implicated is not going to be good for her given A) her past controversies and B) her new promotion. Meanwhile, we know that Tasha is willing to do everything that she can in order to save Tariq from prosecution. Unfortunately, this is not going to be an easy thing to do. Most of the cops / prosecutors within the Power world are reasonably smart; they aren’t the typical police idiots that you see on other shows.
