With great risk comes at times great reward … but also great failure. It seems like this time around, it’s more in line with the latter — could Noah be out of a job so soon after landing it? Noah’s attempt to teach his students a lesson in civil duty spirals out of control. Helen can’t handle Vik’s decision and goes behind his back, only to find resistance everywhere she turns.
One of the central themes that we’re looking to see explored over the course of this season is whether or not you can really run away from your problems. The move at the start of season 4 seemed to be, at least in part, about an escape for Helen and others. Yet, we’re starting to get suspicious that she’s not getting that at all. For starters, Noah is still in her orbit; beyond that, she can’t just label him as the sole person responsible for many of her problems.
