For anyone out there who is interested in watching Blue Bloods season 8 on Netflix, you’re going to get a chance to do that very soon!
Come July 1, you are going to get a chance to watch all of the Reagan family’s latest exploits on the streaming service, and given everything that happened over season 8 you’re going to want to get out some tissues. This is the most emotional season we can recall, given what happened at the start of the season (no spoilers in this article, for those who haven’t seen it yet) leading all the way to what happened at the very end. This is the season that will very much entertain you, but also gut you at the same time.
In the midst of all of this, though, we do think that the DNA for Blue Bloods is very much still the same. This is a series largely about family, and finding a way for various characters to come together in what are often difficult times. It’s about difficult moral questions and finding compromises that could impact the entire city. Danny finds a new archenemy, Frank sees the return of a familiar face, and there are many great guest stars over the course of the year.
When it comes to relationships, this season also has one of the biggest — and happiest — surprises that we’ve had through eight years of the show. You’re not going to find out what that is until near the end, but it is the sort of reveal that should have you very intrigued for what’s coming up next. Blue Bloods season 9 is not coming up on CBS until the fall, so there is still plenty of time to catch up on Netflix in the event you are interested in watching that season live.
