The 100 season 5 episode 8 preview: ‘How We Get to Peace’

The 100 season 5 episode 8

The 100 season 5 episode 8 is airing on The CW in one week’s time, and with that you’re getting an hour entitled “How We Get to Peace.” Given how much war and constant bloodshed we’ve seen on this series over the years, it certainly makes sense that some characters are actively in pursuit of that endgame.

Below, The 100 season 5 episode 8 synopsis offers some additional information regarding what is coming up:

DETERMINATION – Clarke’s (Eliza Taylor) determination to protect Madi (guest star Lola Flannery, “Home Again,” “Shadowhunters”) puts Bellamy (Bob Morley) in an impossible position. Paige Turco, Henry Ian Cusick, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Chris Larkin and Tasya Teles also star. Antonio Negret directed the episode written by Lauren Muir (#508). Original airdate 6/26/2018.

Centering an episode around Clarke and Bellamy is certainly a smart move if you want to generate conversation about you in advance — especially since there are so many different components at play here. These are two strong characters who each want specific things and are going to do just about everything within their power in order to ensure that they get them. Luckily, there’s at least some compromise that they may be able to come to … at least if they still operate like we think that they will.

Ultimately, we just wish that there was a little bit more insight out there regarding the series, especially since it’s done such an excellent job this season putting most of the pieces on the chessboard and showing an extreme amount of content between what was and also what is.

On the other side of this episode, we’ll be getting into what we consider clearly to be the home stretch. After all, at that point there will only be a small number of stories to go.
