You can now watch Outlander, Power, other Starz shows via YouTube TV

Starz -

Just in case you are looking for a way in which to watch Outlander, Power, American Gods, or some other Starz shows through YouTube TV, today’s your lucky day! Today, the network confirmed alongside YouTube that Starz and Starz Encore premium pay TV channels and services are now available. For $9 a month all 14 Starz and Starz Encore Channels are available on YouTube TV, and that includes their full Video On Demand catalog including some of the aforementioned series’ past seasons. You will also be able to watching upcoming seasons through them, as well, much like you would any other carrier.

In a statement, Starz’s Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey Hirsch had the following to say:

“The addition of STARZ on YouTube TV offers consumers another exciting new way to subscribe to our channels and access the breadth of top quality original programming and content with the freedom to watch it anywhere, anytime. With breakthrough STARZ original series, first-run hit movies includingRough Night and Spider-Man: Homecoming, as well as exclusive documentaries, STARZ is a great value for consumers who subscribe to this platform.”

Meanwhile, YouTube TV’s Director of Content Partnerships Heather Moosnick added the following:

“We are excited to expand the YouTube TV offering with Starz just in time for the premiere of Season 5 of ‘Power.’ We know YouTube TV users will love exploring Starz’s incredible originals, movies and rich library in addition to our current ‘Best of TV’ base package, all in one seamless experience.”

What this means to fans of any of the shows referenced here is that it helps to provide more in the future. More potential carriers equals more income, which in turn means more funneled back to keep the shows you love on the air. In this era where so many viewers are flocking away from traditional cable, alternative options benefit everyone.

Moosnick mentions the premiere of Power at the start of July as a timely benefit of this deal getting done; meanwhile, this deal comes long before the return of Outlander this November. For more news on that series, be sure to check out the link here.
