Big Brother 20 promo hints at possible social-media theme
In the video below (via Hamsterwatch), you can get a pretty good sense as to what’s coming in the form of a tech / social media themed season. This means we’re probably down for a bright, colorful season … and also one where the public could get involved for a few different major twists and turns along the way. Those are always going to be polarizing to us, but really, the theme isn’t that important … at least so long as the house isn’t a total eyesore. (Does anyone remember when there were originally going to be rooms filled with sand on the show in the past? One of the random oddities of cast reveal season.)
What really matters here is the cast. You’re going to get a chance to meet the new cast tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. Pacific via CBS All Access, and they will be what sells this season. Just remember this — it’s WAY too early tomorrow to judge whether or not some of these players are going to be good at the gang. There was a large contingent of people last year who felt like Josh was going to be an early boot, and he ended up winning the game! Ultimately, this is a show where so much has to do with everything from house chemistry to twists to competition prowess. It’s hard to predict, though there are typically a couple of houseguests every season that you can feel confident about almost from the get-go.

The next few weeks are probably going to be the most exciting time to be a Big Brother fan, largely because that’s when all of the chaos happens and you’re still in the getting-to-know-you phase.
