Fuller House season 4 filming update: How far along is production?
For a little bit of evidence of that, just take a look at the photo below via co-showrunner Bryan Behar on Twitter. Filming’s been going on for a little while, and based on where things ended with season 3, there’s a lot of material to mine when it comes to DJ, Kimmy, and Stephanie — let alone some of the supporting characters.
Now, the question that you have to wonder is simply this: When is the fourth season going to premiere? How long are we going to have to wait? Hopefully, it won’t be too long — but we’re betting that it won’t be until at least the fall, given that there are so many episodes still to film and Netflix is going to watch to have a reasonable batch of stories in the can before they bring the show back. That is, after all, the way in which that they like to do things. We anticipate a formal premiere-date announcement coming a little bit later this year.
Given that this is the fourth season, the thing at the top of our wishlist is creativity. Don’t be afraid to take risks! At this point in the run, you know that you’re delivering a product that viewers like, and that affords you the opportunity to stretch and try new things — variety is going to be the thing that gets Fuller House a season 5 or 6 down the road, and we definitely want to see the series sticking around for a while.
