SIX season 2 episode 5 preview: Gina and Michael get an offer

SIX season 2 episode 5

What’s coming up on SIX season 2 episode 5? This is an episode that could be about a rescue, but beyond that, it could be about recovery. You could see some of that for Caulder, who has one of the more personal stories we’ve seen so far this season. One of the challenges for SIX as a whole is figuring out a way to balance out some of the military stories with the more personal plots, and we do think that this episode is going to be a great chance to tow that line and show us a little bit of the best of both worlds.

Below, the SIX season 2 episode 5 synopsis offers up some more information and insight as to what is coming up:

SEALs go to retrieve hostages. The Prince makes Gina and Michael an offer they cannot refuse. Caulder starts rehabilitation for a combat injury and meets a kindred spirit.

This episode is entitled “Masks,” and we do think that there is an element of significance to that. After all, we’ve certainly come to know over time that many people often find a way to hide something about themselves…

How is the show performing in the ratings?

In our latest weekly ratings update on SIX, we (unfortunately) once again have bad news. Last week’s installment posted just a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic and also less than 700,000 viewers. These are the show’s lowest ratings of the season and beyond that, the series is down almost 50% in both measurements versus season 1’s live averages.

In general, it’s hard to pinpoint any specific reason for the drop, but we have to think that one of the biggest factors has to just be the long delay between seasons and it airing at a different time of the year than it did previously.
