Legion season 3 premiere date hopes for Dan Stevens, cast
Let us start here with the fact that there is going to be another season of the series. We don’t anyone to fear anything when it comes to the short-term future. The show is still very much beloved by FX Networks executives, in addition of course to all the fans. While the ratings for season two are down to date, It is not so steep a decline that it makes us all together worried about a future beyond season 3.
Back when Legion was officially renewed for another season, it was said then that new episodes will air at some point in 2019. Now, the real question is when during 2019 the series will premiere. After all, show executive producer Noah Hawley has shown himself to be an extremely busy guy. He is directing a feature film this summer, and then on the other side of that he has to think about writing the Fargo season 4 premiere. If Hawley was just slightly involved with Legion, maybe it wouldn’t be so big a deal. However, this is a guy who either wrote or co-wrote the entirety of the show’s second season. He does more with this show than many other showrunners do writing their own shows, this is not even the only one he works on. We figure that having this much going on is a good challenge for him to have, and maybe in some ways that actually helps him to continually be so creative.
There is absolutely so much more of this story that can be told, but one of the biggest questions we’re left to ponder here is how much the potential Fox – Disney merger could leave a mark. This would potentially bring the Marvel property back closer to the MCU, and while we don’t think the show will change direction much after the acquisition, anything is possible. If nothing else, maybe Legion can make a few references that they were not able to otherwise. We’re just glad that the merger doesn’t seem to be messing up any plans for the show’s future, especially since that was a concern that a number of people had for some time.
