Fear the Walking Dead season 4 episode 8 is obviously so much more than your standard episode of the series on AMC — it’s actually the midseason finale! This is hopefully the episode with the most information and answers within it — after all, whatever transpires here is going to send us into hiatus presumably the new couple of months. (Our feeling, at least for now, is that the show will return later this summer, prior to the launch of The Walking Dead season 9.)
There are many different stories that are going to be present at the heart of this episode, and the Fear the Walking Dead season 4 episode 8 synopsis (via SpoilerTV) gives you a good sense as to what some of them are:
Madison fights to preserve the life she worked so hard to build; Morgan tries to do the right thing.
That is not exactly a whole lot of information to go, not that this should be all that much of a shock given that we are getting to a major turning point in the story and there’s a lot here, understandably, that AMC would want to keep secret. Beyond that, this synopsis was actually written up many weeks ago so it had to be vague with that in mind. This is the sort of series that loves cliffhangers, so don’t be shocked if we get another one of those moving into whatever is going to be coming up down the road.
Ultimately, though, the one thing at the top of our personal wishlist is this: That we don’t see any more characters killed off, largely because of the fact that we’ve seen so much of that happen over the course of the show already. Doesn’t there have to be a tipping point eventually where we have seen enough of this?
