Ransom season 2 episode 8 video: Why is Eric negotiating with a killer?

Ransom season 2 episode 8

Ransom season 2 episode 8 is coming on CBS later tonight, and from the get-go there are going to be some important questions worth asking. One of the biggest ones is the one referenced in the title: Why in the world would Eric want to work with a serial killer?

As it turns out, there is a rather-simple answer to this question: It’s not so much that Eric wants to work with said killer. Instead, it’s tied to the fact that he thinks that he has no other choice in the matter. Below, the Ransom season 2 episode 8 synopsis offers up some more information as to what’s coming up:

“The Fawn” – Eric negotiates with a convicted serial killer in order to get his insight when a [teenage] boy is kidnapped by someone copying his methods, on RANSOM, Saturday, June 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Basically, the character is being put into a near-impossible situation here given that in order to save one life, he may have to negotiate with someone who doesn’t deserve any of the support that he gets. He cannot love this idea at all but sometimes in the world of negotiating, you have to come up with unfortunate compromises.

Speaking on unfortunate compromises, there is a promo for this episode at the bottom of this article. While we’re thrilled to have one, at the same time it stinks that CBS couldn’t include something that was a little more substantial and meaningful in terms of what is actually coming up. This is a network that does get rather used to, unfortunately, putting out generic promos for many of their procedurals. This is another example of this very thing. Hopefully, you’ll watch the episode tonight and that will more than make up for anything else.
