The Fosters series finale: Details on the final three episodes!

When The Fosters returns with its final three episodes starting on June 4, the series is doing something rather different. These episodes are airing over the course of three nights, with the final one serving as the series finale. These episodes, in turn, will lead into the newly-titled Good Trouble, a spin-off show that captures the lives of Callie and Mariana on the other side of everything that happens on the series proper.

Season 5 episode 20, “Meet the Fosters” – “The Adams Fosters comes together for some major celebrations, set one year after the spring finale.”

Season 5 episode 21, “Turks & Caicos” – “The family travels to Turks & Caicos for Brandon and Eliza’s wedding where they find themselves at odds with their future in-laws, meanwhile when Brandon and Eliza find themselves butting heads, Brandon turns to the person who knows him best.”

Season 5 episode 22, “Where the Heart Is” – “After a turbulent few days in Turks & Caicos, the family starts to question if the wedding will actually take place. The moms make a huge decision that will change the family forever.”

By the end of the series finale, one of the biggest things that we are hoping to see is a larger sense of understanding regarding just how close-knit the Adams Foster family will be — and also where some of them end up in their lives. While we do firmly believe that some of them will end up becoming a part of the spin-off that need for closure is nonetheless very important and something that still should be explored more.
