Man with a Plan season 3 premiere date hopes for CBS comedy
In many ways, getting an additional season of Man with a Plan is a pleasant surprise in the first place. A couple of years ago, the network showed that they were very interested in going big on family comedies and multi-camera sitcoms. That is why we’ve had such shows as this one alongside Kevin Can Wait and also Superior Donuts and 9JKL. At this point, though, Man with a Plan is the only one that actually made it to the 2018-19 schedule.
So, for now, just be glad that the show is coming back in the first place. All signs point to a premiere date at some point in 2019, though the specifics are going to depend heavily on how some of CBS’ other shows end up faring the fall. For example, the network is running Monday nights a lineup of new comedies including The Neighborhood and Happy Together. If these shows end up being very successful, it’s possible that Man with a Plan will be moved to a different night for its third season. This is not the only comedy that is floating around in the either for CBS, either. The future of Life In Pieces is also certainly a mystery at the moment.
If you want to see the show last beyond a season 3, the one thing that we can advise for you is to keep watch on when it could be premiering, and then when it does be sure to watch live and tell most of your friends to do the same thing. This was certainly a bubble show this time around, and unless things change it will more than likely be in that same sort of situation again. We do still think that there is potential for this show to expand and become even more than what it’s been through two seasons, so we hope that the producers do decide to push the envelope a little bit rather than just sticking with the formula that has worked to date.
