Elementary season 6 episode 4 preview: When will Michael, Joan meet?
As for what we know about this character to date, we’ve seen glimpses of many different dimensions. We know that Sherlock is striking up a friendship with him, but there is also so much more going on with this man than is first clear. Over the course of this episode we may not actually see Michael, but Joan does still make it clear that she would like to meet him at some point. This is her starting to identify that something is amiss about this guy, who Sherlock has met while continuing to work on his sobriety. This is someone who has come into Sherlock’s life and not too long after, seems to be using him for a favor. It is fair to question some of his motives and this is precisely what Joan seems to be doing in this case. Sherlock tries to downplay their friendship to her, but we have a hard time imagining that this story is going to be cooling off in the slightest coming up.
Beyond this particular sneak peek, the second one below gives you a pretty good sense as to what’s coming in terms of the case and how it ends up impacting Watson personally. The deceased is her former therapist, someone who helped her back in a time of great need. Seeing her dead could invoke a wide range of different emotions — and, in turn, give her quite a bit to think about as the season progresses. We are in the sixth season of the show and with that, we are certainly at a point in which characters start to think more about their futures.
