Siren season 2 renewal confirmed at Freeform
What do we know about this? For now, a number of different things beginning with the episode count: Sixteen. That’s up substantially from the ten episodes that season 1 received, and that also likely means that season 2 is going to be split up into different halves. you’ll probably get the first half in early 2019 and following that, the second half could air a little bit later in the year if we’re lucky.
From the moment that the Siren series premiere first aired, it was clear that Freeform would be happy with its numbers. This was a show that performed fantastically through all of the episodes that we’ve had a chance to see so far this season and we have to imagine that it will continue to do so. After all, Shadowhunters is delivering on something that you really aren’t getting anywhere else on TV — a touch of the supernatural and also a strong environmental message that hopefully is going to make viewers all the more cognizant of their surroundings. Hopefully, it will help to remind everyone of their own humanity and some of what they can do in order to make the world a better place.
Siren season 1 will continue to air on Freeform Thursday nights and as we inch closer to the finale, we have a feeling that we will have even more news to share. For now, rejoice in the fact that the series is coming back! Also, rest assured that we will have some further updates on the series the moment that they are available.
