Once Upon a Time series finale spoilers: Weaver vs. Rumple and much more

Want to know what lies ahead on the Once Upon a Time series finale? “Leaving Storybrooke” is the title for Friday’s grand finale, and based on some of the information that is out there via ABC, this one is going to be epic.

We’ve teased for the past couple of weeks that the biggest appeal of the episode is seeing Rumple effectively have to do battle with his other self — With-Realm Rumple is someone completely without his moral compass and in order to defeat him, there’s a good chance that Weaver is going to have to start to think like him. The characters at the heart of season 7 will be at the forefront of this battle but rest assured that along the way, you are also going to get some updates regarding some of the other key players at the heart of the story.

Wish Rumple’s evil plan is revealed and Regina realizes the only hope to stop him is by turning Wish Henry from his path for vengeance. Meanwhile, Tilly and Margot try to get help in Storybrooke. With his hope of ever being reunited with Belle fading, Weaver struggles to find a way to defeat his evil alter ego; and when Rogers’ life is threatened, he is faced with the ultimate sacrifice.

Obviously what we are looking at here is a story that is deeply personal and especially gut-wrenching for many of these characters as they need to start raising key questions regarding the future.
