Silicon Valley season 6 premiere dates hope for HBO comedy
Let’s kick things off here with a reminder that HBO has, in fact, already renewed the series for a sixth season. They made this decision earlier this year and that is, of course, a cause worth celebrating. While we don’t think that this is a show necessarily meant to last forever, it is nice to see that it does have a little bit more gas left in the tank.
As for the question of when it could premiere, though, there are some more question marks in regards to that. We would hope to see it once again in the spring of 2019, but given the busy schedules of some of the cast at this point it feels wrong to assume anything. We’re in a slightly different position with this show than we were back when it first premiered, at least in terms of the fact that the cast has more notoriety and that leads into some opportunities for a few of them to do other things. They have busy schedules and that does need to be accommodated. We do think that one of the ways in which the series is already doing that, though, is by airing eight episodes a season again as opposed to the previous ten.
Until we hear otherwise, we are going to assume that Silicon Valley season 6 will air at some point in the spring of 2019, largely because of the fact that this is when it has aired in many of the seasons you have heard about before. There hasn’t been any indication as of yet that this will be the final season, so we’re not going into it right now with that assumption.
