Ransom season 2 episode 6 preview: Eric’s mother is kidnapped

Ransom season 2 episode 6

Ransom season 2 episode 6 is coming up on CBS and it goes without saying that this one is going to be important. It’s one of the most personal cases that Eric has taken on over the course of the series, mostly because at the center of this is the kidnapping of his mother! He has to figure out a way to rescue her; unfortunately, in order to do so he’s going to need some help from someone he would probably prefer not to get some help from: His father. The two don’t exactly have a great relationship but in order to accomplish this mission, he’s going to need that assist.

Below, the Ransom season 2 episode 6 synopsis offers up a little more insight right now on what to expect:

“Legacy” –  As Eric fights to save his mother, renowned surgeon Annette Beaumont (Maria Ricossa), after she is kidnapped and ordered to perform heart surgery on a dangerous crime boss, he realizes he needs help from his estranged father, Phillip Hingston (John Bourgeois), on RANSOM, Saturday, May 12 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The latest ratings

We’re providing these at the moment on a weekly basis and based on some of the numbers to date, Ransom is certainly still on the bubble. It posted another 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic for this past episode, and to go along with that around 2.5 million viewers — its smallest audience of the season. CBS has yet to decide on the show’s future, and unlike the majority of the rest of their series, they may not for some time. Because this is a Canadian series, they don’t have the same sort of investment in the show. They could choose to pick it up down the road (as they did after season 1) so there’s no real pressure for some sort of official decision to be made in the near future.
