Blue Bloods season 8 episode 21 sneak peek: Danny finds himself in a bind
For Danny Reagan, the question that he’s going to be wondering in this episode is pretty simple: How seriously should he take the threat of a possible murder when it is coming from a fairly-questionable source? That’s something that the sneak peek below makes you wonder. He isn’t altogether interested in listening to a threat this time and seems to be treating it almost like a Boy Who Cried Wolf sort of scenario. John Romano is the source’s name and there seems to be tension between Danny, Anthony, and Erin all about it. Here is one of the most surprising parts of this: It feels as though Anthony is actually on Danny’s side here! He doesn’t seem altogether interested in trusting Romano either but, by the end of the episode these two men may find out that they have no other choice but to take this case on.
As for what is coming up beyond the story of Danny and Erin this week, be prepared to see Jamie and Eddie working together for an emotional case involving a missing newborn. Meanwhile, Frank will have to take on a case that is about taking on big technology companies — while Blue Bloods doesn’t always rip cases right out of the headlines, this one could have a little more in the way of pop-culture relevance than some of the others that we have seen as of late.
No matter what happens this week, just know that there’s a big finale on the other side — it will test some of these characters and, to go along with it, raise some interesting discussions about the future of Jamie and Eddie.
