NCIS season 15 episode 21 sneak peek: The story of Sara Carter

NCIS season 15 episode 21

We know that the majority of the buzz out there about NCIS season 15 episode 21 is revolving around the exit of Pauley Perrette; yet, we do also want to put the focus for a minute here on the story of Sara Carter.

The sneak peeks below give you a good sense as to who Carter (played by Skye P. Marshall) is and why she is so important to this story. In the opening minutes of this episode, she gets herself arrested outside the NCIS premises. At first, it looks like she is just there in order to cause some trouble; yet, the moment she gets into the interrogation room she makes it clear precisely what she wants. After her mother’s murder, Sara believes that the wrong person was arrested; she is desperate to get justice for her mother, a veteran, and is willing to wager her own legal future in order to make sure that justice is properly served.

The scene that Marshall shares with Mark Harmon below is pretty fantastic and it gives you a chance to see some really exceptional emotional stakes.

As for Abby…

While the third sneak peek below doesn’t necessarily give you a good sense as to how Pauley Perrette’s character is leaving, it does give you a good sense as to the fun that’s coming in this episode.

As it turns out, Abby has an invitation to go to one of the best new restaurants in Washington — one that is set within an igloo and features a wide array of ice-themed cuisine. It’s an exciting, ambitious sort of eatery that has a lot of different members of the team excited to go there. The problem, at least for Abby, is that she can pick only one person and she can’t transfer it. Everyone makes a case and we have a feeling that this is going to be worth all sorts of laughs — at least at first. As for how this ends up being tied into Abby’s exit, that still remains to be seen.
