13 Reasons Why season 2 premiere date, new teaser revealed

13 Reasons Why season 2 premiere date

Are you ready to find out the 13 Reasons Why season 2 premiere date on Netflix? If so, we come bearing great news! Today, the streaming service revealed that come Friday, May 18, you are going to see what comes next for this gripping, harrowing drama about teens struggling to hang on to life and to normalcy. It’s one of the most well-crafted series out there, but also one of the most painful. There is a reason why Netflix is adding some additional warnings to the series to make sure that viewers are prepared to dive into the show and some of its extreme content.

Below, the 13 Reasons Why season 2 synopsis gives you at least a basic sense as to some of what is coming up:

Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of Hannah’s death and the start of our characters’ complicated journeys toward healing and recovery. Liberty High prepares to go on trial, but someone will stop at nothing to keep the truth surrounding Hannah’s death concealed. A series of ominous polaroids lead Clay and his classmates to uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up.

The new video below does give you at least a small sense as to precisely what the second season is going to be based around thematically. We don’t think that there are any huge spoilers in here on the story per se, but this is a worthy follow-up to everything that we have just explained.

13 Reasons Why is a show like no other. It is dark, it is powerful, and above all else it will make you think of the way in which mental health is perceived and also whether or not we are doing enough to support teens who may be out there suffering. This is a show that is deserving of just about every bit of the attention that it is receiving.
