Should a Power season 5 trailer be coming our way soon?

Power season 5 trailer

We’re almost to the month of May and with that in mind, it doesn’t feel as though we’re all that far away from the premiere of Power season 5 on Starz. The series is returning on Sunday, July 1, and the question at the heart of this particular article is pretty simple: When are we getting the trailer?

Based on most evidence that is out there from the past here, the answer is rather simple: Soon. Last year, it was around the second week in May in which the season 4 trailer was released, and at the moment it doesn’t feel like there is any real reason for that to be different. It feels almost like the perfect time to get a little bit more when it comes to Power news, mostly because of the fact that we haven’t had a chance to see a whole lot of it as of late so far.

So what do we know? For starters, it doesn’t seem like the show is going to be jumping too far ahead, which is good given the high stakes that we were presented with in the closing minutes of season 4. Ghost has lost his daughter, and Tasha has taken the fall for Tariq. Is she destined to spend many upcoming years in prison? That is one interesting subject to think about for the time being. Another interesting one is whether or not we’re going to have a chance to see more in the way of Ghost, Kanan, and Tommy actually together again in some capacity. While it didn’t seem a year ago like the three running together would be possible, times do change. People also change, and Dre is a pretty great example of that given that he is one of the biggest adversaries that the series has — he didn’t get that way over time, and that’s in one way why he is so formidable. We’ve seen many of his highs and lows play out.

As soon as that Power season 5 trailer is online, rest assured we’ll have some analysis of it.
