The Blacklist season 5 filming wrapped for Megan Boone
Want some evidence of that? Then check out the post below from series star Megan Boone, who confirmed that she recently wrapped filming some of her final scenes as Liz Keen for the season. We’ve certainly seen Liz go on a rather intense journey this season, one that includes killing, burning bodies in acid, distrusting Reddington, and trying to find a way to get revenge on one Ian Garvey.
What’s interesting about where Liz Keen is now, though, is that it feels as though getting revenge is impossible. Just think about things in this way — Garvey is dead. Reddington effectively took from Liz the opportunity to get something that she so desperately sought out. With that in mind, the next order of business for her is seeing if she can find out how she can fill this hole in her heart if there is one. We certainly wouldn’t be shocked if she attempts to fill a little bit of that void with trying to uncover the mystery of the duffel bag and the bones. Think about things in this sort of way — Reddington was so desperate to keep that mystery a secret that he was willing to actually kill someone over it. With that in mind, Liz has to know that it is something extreme and something that she should be interested in. It’s too bad, then, that she’s going to have a very hard time getting Reddington to want to spill the beans on this. He’s kept this secret close to the vest for a long time for a very specific reason and it’s hard to imagine almost anything at this point causing him to start to open up about it.
