The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 23 preview: Jerry O’Connell’s debut

The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 23

The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 23 airing on CBS in one week’s time is the last one before the season finale, and it feels fair to say that there’s going to be some big stuff that happens there. This is, after all, going to mark the long-awaited debut of Jerry O’Connell on the show in the role of Sheldon’s brother Georgie. We’ve been waiting to see this character for a while now and our hope is that he lives up to the billing!

Of course, we also hope that he is an evolution from the version of him that we have come to know about on Young Sheldon. This is really one of the few times in which the spin-off show is in some ways actually informing what is happening on the main show, given that most of these characters were already developed in some form before the new series came on the air.

Below, the Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 23 synopsis does a good job of sharing some of the details that are going to be coming up over the course of the episode:

“The Sibling Realignment” – When Sheldon learns that his mother won’t attend his wedding unless he invites his brother, Georgie (Jerry O’Connell), he and Leonard travel to Texas to end a family feud. Also, the Wolowitz kids inadvertently infest Amy, Bernadette, Wolowitz and Koothrappali with pinkeye, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, May 3 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

Obviously, the Jerry O’Connell story is worth the real price of admission, but we do have a feeling that the pink eye story is going to be one of the most relatable ones that we’ve seen on the series in some time. After all, if there is one thing that we’ve come to learn in life it’s that with the arrival of babies understandable comes the arrival of diseases, mostly because they are so easy to spread.
