The Terror episode 7 preview: The suffering on the ground

What’s coming up on The Terror episode 7? Let’s just say that things are somehow going to continue a downward spiral … though it’s pretty hard to think that things could somehow be worse than they are for some of these characters now. Just remember what we saw tonight in between a pretty dramatic fire and the decision (which was almost made for them) to proceed for the remainder of the journey on foot. They have MANY miles to go and not a lot of supplies. Warmer weather and potentially, some friendly faces await them if they make it far enough. Unfortunately, along the way there is going to be a lot of unfriendly faces that they could run into, including also some threats old and new.

Below, The Terror episode 7 synopsis offers up a little bit more information as to just what you can see coming up as a whole:

A massive mobilization of men attempts to move all the expedition’s portable supplies to land as the expedition’s long walk south begins. Leaving the protection of the ships, they are now completely exposed to attack from any direction. A series of shocking events underscores how fragile their situation has become.

Want some sort of consolation as to the fate of some of these characters over the course of this episode? If so, the only thing that we really offer you is this: A reminder that we’ve still got a few episodes to go this season. It’s possible that everyone originally aboard these ships meets a grisly fate eventually, but we’re not quite there just yet. There are some other obstacles that will be tackled, including some extremely terrifying situations that we cannot quite fathom just.

No matter your reasoning for diving in and enjoying The Terror, one thing remains very much clear: Some of the best of what this show has to offer could very well still be coming up.
