Scorpion season 5: Three things fans can still do to make it happen

At the moment, there is unfortunately still no word when it comes to whether or not a Scorpion season 5 is going to happen on CBS. The show was one of the few dramas on the fall schedule not renewed already on the network and with that in mind, there is still a significant reason for anxiety.

For the time being, we do think that Scorpion is very much on the bubble; unfortunately, there are no episodes left on the air and with that, it’s not as though fans can watch the show live in order to help ensure that a season 5 happens. So what can be done at this point? We don’t think necessarily that the fate of Scorpion is set in stone for good and with that, we’ve got some suggestions.

1. Check out episodes online – Whether it be through CBS’ website or CBS All Access, there are still some venues in which you can check out the show in a way that helps to monetize it for the network. This is essential, at the very least from the vantage point of making some sort of financial commitment to the series as a whole.

2. Create more social-media movements – This is where things could really start to pick up steam given that one of the things in which CBS is lacking is a series that can drive a lot of Twitter trends and other movements on the internet. (Survivor is really one of the few series we see occasionally trend worldwide. A few others do trend in the United States.) If Scorpion can show that it could be that show whether it be via the #TeamScorpion hashtag or something a bit more specific, that could help to tip the scales.

3. Contact CBS directly – A little bit of feedback never hurt anyone! Write them via email, via, Facebook, or via Twitter making it clear your interest in supporting the show. Do something that constitutes a significant movement. Not only could this help to get Scorpion a season 5, but it could enable beyond that the network making an even larger commitment when it comes to how they promote the show.
