Chicago Fire season 6 episode 20 preview: Bria returns; Otis’ next step

Chicago Fire season 6 episode 20

When Chicago Fire season 6 episode 20 is airing on NBC in one week’s time, you better be prepared for a number of different stories. Some of them are dangerous, but some others could be complicated for these characters’ personal lives. To be specific, we’re not sure how anything could be as complicated as what’s going to be coming up with Bria. She was gone for a while after turning up earlier this season; now, she’s getting set to come back and there is a very specific reason for that.

Below, the Chicago Fire season 6 episode 20 synopsis offers up some more insight when it comes to the series:

04/26/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : After saving a girl from a car accident, Chief Boden and Lt. Severide are taken aback when they receive a surprise package. Brett struggles to keep quiet about Cruz reacquainting with his now-married high school sweetheart and Otis tackles his next challenge. A crisis brings Bria (guest star Quinn Cooke) back into Dawson’s life.

The Bria storyline does raise some interesting questions entering the final episodes this season, including whether or not Casey and Dawson could end up providing a stable home for her. Beyond just that, we are interesting in seeing the Cruz / Brett storyline just because it is such an interesting flip from what we saw earlier this season, which of course was when Cruz had a lot of anxiety about Brett’s relationship with Antonio. Her feelings may not necessarily be romantic towards Joe, but she cares about him deeply! She recognizes just what his overall value is to her life and wants to be okay.

Meanwhile, isn’t it always great to see Otis trying to press on? It’d be great to see him back on truck at the end of the season but it may be too early to tell as to whether or not that is going to happen.
