Is Outlander season 4 starting to get a little fiery?

Outlander season 4

As of late, things have been a little bit quiet on the Outlander season 4 filming front — and understandably so. We are getting near the end of production (there are a couple of months to go) and with that, we are at a time in which spoilers are a little bit more protected. Sure, many viewers may be book readers but not all of them are!

Yet, we do have one thing that is rather interesting to report — there is a particularly-fiery sequence being shot coming up in Scotland at a local CEMEX plant. A post on Twitter has evidenced in the form of a flyer that offers up information for people in the area. It claims that there will be some flame effects utilized from now until Saturday and that the team has taken all of the necessary precautions in order to ensure that everything will be properly contained. Given that Outlander has some of the best crew in the business none of this should be a surprise.

In informing those who may be in the area, Outlander as a production is simply doing their do diligence — we imagine if we were located somewhere near the plant and were seeing some of these flames, this could be cause for a panic! It’s not always easy to tell, after all, what is a television production and what is not.

As for what is involved in the sequence, maybe some book readers have a clue but we don’t want to spoil too much here for non-readers. Knowing that there is going to be an especially-fiery sequence coming is something that we like to classify as a perfect little teaser of what’s to come. It’s something worthy of some excitement while, at the same time, not crossing over into something too specific. Given that Jamie and Claire are now in America at a time in which tensions are mounting between multiple parties, it’s easy to imagine that there are a number of different reasons such a fire could start.

One way or another, we will all find out a little later this fall when Outlander season 4 premieres.
