The Flash season 4 episode 19: Leo Snart back for ‘Fury Rogue’

Flash season 4

Next week on The Flash season 4 episode 19 there is a lot of great stuff to be excited about, and much of that begins with getting to see more of Wentworth Miller as Leo Snart. There is a part of this story that feels already like an excellent mirror to when Wentworth Miller came back last year as Earth-1 Leonard Snart in order to help out a case. This time around, the Earth-X version is coming over with his own specific mission in mind. This episode seems to be the final appearance for Miller in the Arrowverse at the moment, though we certainly do hope that there is another appearance coming up for him at some point down the line. It just doesn’t seem to be this season.

Just in case you want some other details as to what’s coming, you can do that courtesy of the synopsis below:

WENTWORTH MILLER RETURNS AS CITIZEN COLD – When Barry (Grant Gustin) needs help transporting a dangerous meta, he calls on a new friend for help – Leo Snart AKA Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller). Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) becomes suspicious of Harry (Tom Cavanagh). Rachel Talalay directed the episode written by Jeff Hersh & Joshua V. Gilbert (#419). Original airdate 4/24/2018.

The first thing that comes to mind after reading this is simple: RACHEL TALALAY. She is one of the greatest directors of this genre out there and is best known for some of her work over on Doctor Who. This marks her first episode of The Flash since “The Present” during the first part of season 3.

Beyond Snart’s return, one of the stories we are the most excited to see is if Harry is really starting to become more like the Reverse-Flash version of Harrison Wells with each passing day. Is there a way to stop that? There’s a perfectly good reason for Cisco to be worried about this just because he remembers how terrible Earth-1 “Wells” really was. We also have a pretty clear recollection still of the time in which Wells killed Cisco in the alternate timeline, which remains one of the most painful scenes that we’ve had a chance to see on the series to date.
