Supergirl season 3 episode 15 preview: Mon-El, Kara’s training session
When it comes to some of the action, odds are that you’re going to get your money’s worth watching Kara and Mon-El prepare for some of the showdowns that are coming with some of the Worldkillers. Meanwhile, some of the emotion may come for J’onn J’onzz as he starts to tackle some very difficult decisions when it comes to his father. He’s struggled to adapt to life in National City ever since his arrival and based on current evidence, it does appear as though we are starting to hit a breaking point.
Below, the Supergirl season 3 episode 15 synopsis does offer up a little bit more information when it comes to some of what lies ahead:
J’ONN HAS TO FACE THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS FATHER – When Myr’nn (guest star Carl Lumbly) inadvertently causes psychic disturbances at the DEO, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) must work with J’onn (David Harewood) to contain the resulting chaos. Meanwhile, Mon-El (Chris Wood) begins training Kara in fighting techniques he’s learned in the future for battling Worldkillers. Andi Armaganian directed the episode with story by Eric Carrasco and teleplay by Katie Rose Rogers & Nicki Holcomb (#315). Original airdate 4/23/2018

As for whether or not this episode features a great deal of Reign, we do think we’ll get some thanks to the Lena Luthor reveal tonight. We wouldn’t be surprised if there are some Reign-less entries in the immediate future, if for no other reason than that there are so many episodes Odette Annable is contracted for this season; beyond that, you do want to ensure that you have this character present for a significant run of episodes as we get closer to the finale.
When it comes to the relationship between Kara and Mon-El, we do think it’s far too early in the season right now to say something one way or the other on its status.
