Bosch season 5 premiere date hopes for Amazon series
However, we have a good feeling that you’re going to be waiting for a while to have that premiere-date announcement be official.
Let’s just start things off for now by stating what we know, beginning with this: There is going to be a Bosch season 5 coming at some point in the new year. Over a month ago Amazon went ahead and renewed the Titus Welliver series for another batch of episodes; even though there is a good bit of change happening these days within Amazon (including with some of their priorities), they do still recognize that this is a tentpole series and do not want to see it going anywhere within the near future.
In a statement back when the renewal was first announced, Amazon Studios’ head of scripted series Sharon Tal Yguado had the following to say:
“As Amazon Prime Video’s longest-running one-hour series, Bosch has long been a cornerstone of our scripted programming, and Prime members consistently clamor for more.”
With that sort of statement in mind, there is reason to believe that Bosch could be around for even more than a season 5. While it is not necessarily the most buzzed-about show on television it has a consistent, loyal audience. To go along with that, Welliver himself is a more-than-capable star who can deliver a wide range of emotions. He’s always been an exceptional character-actor and it’s a thrill to see him emerge more into the light with this series.
Bosch getting that early season 5 renewal is one of the reasons why you can easily be so confident about the series’ overall prospects. After all, what that renewal helps to do is ensure that the producers behind the scenes have the time necessary in order to make the series as strong as possible and with the series already have set the bar pretty high with great story telling and wonderful performances season 5 has a lot to live up to.
