Chicago PD season 5 notes: A deleted scene and what lies ahead
With that being said, do you really think that we would want to leave you without any sort of new content to enjoy? This is what the video below is for! What we’ve got for you now is a deleted scene from this past episode, one in which Hailey Upton gets some much-appreciated advice from Trudy Platt. These two have had a connection for a long time and it’s something that was first explored back when Tracy Spiridakos made her first appearance on the show last season.
What’s important about this scene mostly is that it symbolizes much of what we would like to see coming up on the series. We recently spoke with Spiridakos (there will be an interview coming on CarterMatt about that next week) and one of the things that she said is that she’d love an opportunity to explore some of these dynamics and dimensions with Platt once more. We know the two care about each other and it never hurts to get some sort of allies within Intelligence.
Beyond just the interview next week with Tracy there is a great deal of content to look forward to when it comes to the show proper. For example, there will be a new episode that features some of the characters in extreme amounts of danger as they do their part in order to figure out what’s going on with a string of robberies. They follow the trail and that in turn leads to a surprising person on the other side of them.

As for the Voight storyline, be prepared next week to take another step forward with everything going on with Hank and Woods. We know that Hank is willing to do anything that he can in order to get the upper hand on him, and with that, expect a key scene between him and someone else important in the case. The longer that this all lasts, the more dangerous it is in turn for Voight. It already feels as though this is going to be a near-impossible situation to get himself out of.
