The Terror episode 4 preview: The perfect time to panic

The Terror

The Terror episode 4 will be airing on AMC next week and at the moment, one thing is starting to feel pretty darn clear: Some of the remaining men on this expedition are screwed. Sir John Franklin is seemingly dead, and the same goes for some other crew members. The temperatures and the conditions alone could start to claim some more lives. This is not a safe environment for them to be in and with another winter on the horizon, everyone aboard the Erebus and the Terror are going to be scared. Can you really blame them? This upcoming episode is going to push these crews into chaos, and it may actually force some of the high-ranking officials at this point into considering that maybe they don’t know best. Maybe the Inuit does. After all, we’ve seen on the series already that there is some sort of inherent connection that is there between the Bear and some of the residents of the north.

The Terror episode 4 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below does give you a little bit more of a sense regarding just what is going to be coming up:

With the arrival of another winter, a frightening attack on the ships proves to the men they are not battling an ordinary bear. Whatever is hunting them is cunning, and driving the men to panic. The expedition’s officers are forced to consider that the region’s Inuit culture may hold the key to their survival or demise.

One of the big questions that we have now about the remainder of the season is simply this: It’s only three episodes in and we already know just how terrifying this creature is. We’ve seen now what they are capable of. How is the show going to build up momentum from here? With the talent aboard the show and the creativity behind it at every moment, we have a pretty good feeling that they are going to find a way to figure this out.
