Chicago Med season 3 episode 14 exclusive sneak peek: Did someone kidnap a baby?
In the exclusive sneak peek that CarterMatt has for you below, you can see Goodwin and Dr. Halstead collecting information from a set of parents unsure as to what happened to their baby. They were told by a nurse that Zachary needed to undergo some sort of scan, but they haven’t seen him since. There is a serious cause for concern, but Goodwin promises the parents that they will do everything in their power to locate the baby before anything else happens. She also initiates a lockdown of the hospital (hence the episode’s title of “Lock It Down”) so that no one is able to go in or out until this crisis is resolved. Goodwin means business, and hopefully, this means results.
Is it possible that the baby was brought back to the wrong parents or some other unforeseen circumstance happened? Absolutely, but we would imagine it’s best to assume the absolute worst and then hope for a different outcome. No matter what, hopefully Will and Sharon will be prepared for what lies ahead.
For Dr. Halstead in particular, we know that the character is in the midst of a rather difficult time. Over the course of this past episode there was some tension that started to mount between him and Dr. Manning when it came to their handling of a delicate case; being in a place where life-and-death decisions are made can often test people, and these two doctors will likely face more of them in the near future. Having this possible kidnapping crisis only adds to the stress for Will.
As for Sharon, she had her own fair share of issues going into this episode, including a lawsuit over the sort of patients that were being brought in to the hospital. In Chicago Med though, you have to be used to having a lot on your plate at every turn.
