SWAT episode 16 looks to get emotional

SWAT episode 16

SWAT episode 16 is poised to air on CBS in one week’s time and judging from the latest information (via the network0, we are gearing up for one of the more emotional installments of the season. The title here is “Payback,” and the story seems to be in part around Hondo and the rest of the team having to figure out what they can in order to keep someone from making one of the biggest mistakes of their entire life.

The SWAT episode 16 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers some other insight when it comes to what lies ahead:

When a young heiress, Juliette Carlton (Caitlin Carver), is kidnapped for ransom, Hondo and the SWAT team go on a citywide search to bring her home before she is harmed. Also, the team worries that Mumford is moving too fast when he announces he’s getting married for the fourth time.

Obviously, there is going to be a lot of different drama within this episode, from personal to professional. The rescue mission surrounding Juliette Carlton (arguably the most heiress-sounding name ever) should be mostly appealing in that we’re going to have a chance to see within this episode a case that could be upended by the media. Do you really think that they are going to be so kind as to let Hondo and the team have any sort of peace? That just seems super unlikely. They’re going to have to contend with that, in one form or another, during this hour.

Beyond all of that, one of the other struggles at the heart of this episode is simply going to be how Hondo reacts if the worst-case scenario takes place with the rooftop standoff referenced in the promo. With this sort of profession, you go through a lot — yet, there are some things that will stick with you. There is a very good chance that this could be one of those said things.
