NCIS: New Orleans season 4 episode 20 spoilers: Pride’s bar under siege
For a little more insight on this very subject, be sure to check out the full NCIS: New Orleans season 4 episode 20 synopsis below:
“Powder Keg” – Pride and his bar patrons, including Sydney Halliday (Riann Steele) who is visiting Pride after leaving the Army, are held hostage by a group of volatile thieves, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, April 17 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Sound exciting? It’s at least an episode that is going to look and probably feel different than many others that we’ve seen. Similar to the recent episode of NCIS proper that featured the headquarters under attack, we wouldn’t be altogether shocked if much of the story takes place within the confines of Pride’s bar. It’s a chance for the writers to challenge themselves while also making an hour of TV that saves some money on the budget. Sometimes, that money can be dispersed towards other big episodes like the finale.
As for the second appearance of Doctor Who and The Blacklist alum Riann Steele, what we wonder mostly is if this is an audition for her eventually becoming a part of the team. If nothing else it’s an audition-of-sorts and a chance for the producers to try someone out as an important character in the event that producers want to bring her in down the road. It gives them an opportunity to see her chemistry with the rest of the cast, which is a little less risky than promoting her to series regular outright and then seeing what happens after that.
