You have been waiting a rather long time in order to check out Ransom season 2 episode 1 — now, we’ve got some more details regarding what’s coming up.

What CarterMatt has for you now are some of the first Ransom season 2 episode 1 details. It’s a chance to learn more about what Eric and the rest of the team are going to be up against:

“Three Wishes” – When Eric’s daughter is kidnapped, he must fulfill three ransom demands from his long-time adversary, Damien Delaine (Carlo Rota), which include answering a series of emotionally challenging questions and performing ethically questionable tasks, in order to save what matters to him most – his daughter’s life – on the second season premiere of RANSOM, Saturday, April 7 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Does this sound exciting? In many ways we are stoked about what could be coming up on the show; yet, at the same time, there is also potential for a few surprises. We do think that the show is going to be keeping to some of it’s already established formula of the first season; yet, at the same time it does need to figure out some more ways in which to shine, whether it be giving some characters standout plots or figuring out a way in which to create ransoms that are different from any other that we’ve seen in the past.

Beyond just the story for this episode, there is of course one other thing that we are intrigued to see: What the ratings for the show ultimately end up being. At the end of the day, this was a show that barely managed to squeak through with a season 2 renewal. We do hope that there is going to be another batch of episodes ordered on the other side and that people are going to tune in live to help make that happen.
