Station 19 episode 3 preview: Jack, Andy clash over leadership
Yet, as time goes on it’s going to be clear that Pruitt will have some separation anxiety when it comes to his work at the firehouse; beyond that, there are also some other issues at play here when it comes to what’s going on with Jack and Andy. The two of them have different ideas as to how to make the Station run as efficiently as possible, but this could lead to some confusion elsewhere. Without a clear voice, nothing is going to operate precisely as it should.
Below, the Station 19 episode 3 synopsis offers up some more insight in regards to what is coming up next:
Upon the arrival of Batallion Chief Frankel, Jack begins his first shift as co-captain and continues to butt heads with Andy on leadership styles. Captain Pruitt has a difficult time following doctor’s orders and winds up back at the station to take on administrative duties. Meanwhile, the rest of the team at Station 19 responds to an attic fire at JJ’s apartment building and a call to a pool house party.
The further that we get into Station 19, the more it is going to become clear in turn that finding the right voice to lead the firehouse. Hopefully, we’re going to be able to see if Jack and Andy can figure things out — while also figuring out if they want to be together romantically. (As of right now, we’re a little bit more inclined at the moment to root for Andy with Ryan — they are not competing for the same job, after all.)
