Taken season 2 episode 8 preview: A Jennifer Beals spotlight hour

Taken season 2 episode 8

Taken season 2 episode 8 is coming to NBC in one week’s time and judging from some of the details that are out there, this could put Jennifer Beals in the spotlight. Sure, we’ve seen Christina in some other roles over the course of season 2 so far, but never quite like this. She’s going to be out on her own with vengeance on her mind, and to make matters all the more complicated, nobody else on the team is going to know precisely what happened here.

The Taken season 2 episode 8 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below gives you more of a good sense as to what is coming up next:

03/23/2018 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Friday) : Hart (Jennifer Beals) takes a solo mission to track down the mentor who betrayed her, and the team tries to locate her before it’s too late. Also starring Clive Standen, Adam Goldberg and Jessica Camacho. Guest starring Scott Cohen, Vladimir Raiman and Denis Akiyama. TV-14 S, V

Will this episode serve to deliver some big surprises? We certainly hope so, but above all else we’re hoping that this marks an opportunity to see a few things that we haven’t quite seen before on this show. We know that the series can do action, especially with Bryan at the forefront. Yet, Christina is obviously going to bring with her a unique set of skills all her own.

One of the biggest tests that is out there as a whole with Taken comes in the form of its ratings. While there’s a lot of great action and drama so far in season 2, it’s not being reflected in the numbers. Last week’s episode overall drew in total a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is tied for the lowest number of the series to date. We’ll see what happens, but for now we’re certainly concerned for the future.
