Following tonight’s new episode, you can anticipate seeing the Kerry Washington drama back on the air come Thursday, March 29. Why the long wait? Well, much of that has to do with the launch of Station 19. The Grey’s Anatomy firefighter spin-off is getting a special launch following a regularly-scheduled episode of the main series, and it will be airing (ironically) up against Chicago Fire and a two-hour episode because there are clearly some sadistic programmers out there who wanted to see fictional firefighters do battle with one another for ratings glory!
Unfortunately, there is not too much that is known about Scandal season 7 episode 15 at the moment beyond the title: “The Noise.” What this may be a reference to is the sheer amount of chatter that goes on in Washington, all of the discussion that doesn’t have a whole lot of substance underneath the surface to go along with it. If you can tune out much of the noise and focus on what matters, that is when you are the most successful. It really does not matter all that much if you are talking about within the complicated world of Washington politics or in real life; we like to think that the truth still applies one way or another.
Ultimately, we are very much in the home stretch of the series; there are only a few more episodes to go until the series finale, and we imagine that there are going to be many surprise twists and turns along the way. The series finale may very well be the ABC event of the spring. The show may not be the ratings smash it once was, but it is still very much relevant to the culture and history of the network and really… who out there doesn’t want to know how this is all going to end?
One thing worth noting: When Scandal returns it will be at a new time in 10:00 p.m. Eastern for the remainder of the series.
