SEAL Team episode 16 spoilers: Is Sonny in danger?

SEAL Team premiere ratings

Unfortunately, SEAL Team episode 16 is not coming on CBS tonight. What gives with that? It’s mostly a result of the network wanting there to be more episodes of the show on during May sweeps — unlike Criminal Minds, the plan is to keep SEAL Team on the air through the end of the standard season.

Below, the SEAL Team episode 16 synopsis does offer up a little bit more information as to some of what could be coming up next — hopefully, this is enough to help tide you over for a little bit:

“Never Get Out of the Boat” – Jason leads the SEAL Team on a dangerous daytime mission where Sonny is wounded and must now rely on Clay and his brothers to save his life. Also, Jason sees more of Amy, and Clay struggles with his long-distance relationship with Stella, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, March 21 (9:01-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The obvious thing you can expect when it comes to this episode is drama — after all, how else can you describe an hour of television where you are getting to see at the center of it something that puts an important character in danger? This isn’t the first time this season where we’ve seen someone in jeopardy and we have to imagine that this will not be the last time, either. More than likely, there are going to be several different occasions coming up where someone else is in jeopardy.

Beyond just that, though, you will see two different examples of how relationships are impacted by deployment. For Jason, his bond with Amy will show just how close people can get sometimes in close proximity and in this sort of situation. Meanwhile, with Clay you’re seeing just how difficult it can be to keep relationships going when you are away. This is one of the reasons why Jason and Alana didn’t end up working out in the first place.
