Once Upon a Time season 7 episode 21 title: ‘Homecoming’ implications
Per show executive producer Adam Horowitz’s Twitter account, this episode is entitled “Homecoming.” Doesn’t that tell you a good bit about what could be coming up in the episode? We certainly think so. It could be a sign that we are on the cusp of getting to go back to Storybrooke before the show officially comes to an end. That’s at least what we’re hoping for since it’s been such a long time since the characters have been there, at least in terms of the timeline leading up to the arrivals in Hyperion Heights. why wouldn’t you want to end the show with some sort of callback to what originally made it famous? That means opportunities see Hook and Emma, Snow and Charming, and some other familiar pairings from the past.
Unfortunately, a good bit of this at the moment is pure fanfiction. There is no official confirmation at the moment that any of these people are coming back, though Horowitz has said that the invitation is out there for anyone who wants to take part. To us, it’s almost a no-brainer that we want just about every former series regular back in some capacity because they were so integral to the series success in the first place. But it’s hard to imagine “Homecoming” being about anything else than a reunion or grand return somewhere. (Both Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas do have new pilots, so a series finale will have to work around that.)
So when will this episode air? Thank May. It’s certainly possible that the final episodes air and a two-hour block, or they may just keep to the standard format given that there is also another show in Agents of Shield that also have to wrap up its current season. Interesting Lee enough, it is also on the bubble. once upon a time is somewhat Lucky in that it already knows it’s official.
