SWAT episode 15 return date: First details on ‘Crews’
Here is the first thing that you should know: SWAT is going to be coming back on CBS with new episodes come Thursday, March 29 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. So why the super-long wait? Well, one of the largest reasons for that is simply due to the fact that the NCAA Tournament is getting set to take shape. With college basketball taking over this part of the year, traditionally CBS opts for either repeats or preemptions for a significant chunk of the month of March.
If there is a silver lining in the scheduling it’s this: When SWAT episode 15 does air, there are probably going to be new episodes the remainder of the spring until the show goes off for the year. While there is no 100% confirmation at the moment as to whether or not there will be a second season, at present we feel fairly optimistic as to its prospects. This is still a show with a loyal audience, and to go along with that it fits the CBS mold. It’s hard to imagine a scenario in which it doesn’t come back for more story down the line.
Below, the SWAT episode 15 synopsis offers up a little bit more information regarding what is coming up:
“Crews” – The job becomes personal for Hondo when his criminal informant friend is killed while seeking information about a robbery crew that a joint SWAT and FBI task force is trying to capture. Also, when the FBI task force leader acts erratically, Jessica worries the woman’s behavior will endanger the team in the field.
This certainly sounds as though this will be an interesting episode of the series. You are getting a personal case for Hondo and, beyond that, also some moments in which Jessica will start to have doubts about someone close to Hondo — which, in turn, could make her question Hondo’s own judgment. Isn’t that really inevitable to happen in a situation like this?
