STAR season 2 episode 10 is going to air on Fox come Wednesday, March 28, and based on some of what we know now, it looks as though someone is going to lose their lives. That shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise for one simple reason: The way in which the winter finale ended with the fire and with multiple characters potentially in danger.
Below, the STAR season 2 episode 10 synopsis offers up some more insight when it comes to what to expect:
Carlotta is devastated after the fire that resulted in someone’s death. As she tries to pick up the pieces, her mother, Miss Christine (guest star Patti LaBelle), and sister, Cassie (guest star Brandy Norwood), unexpectedly show up. Meanwhile, Star struggles to hide her jealousy and feelings for Noah, while Gigi (guest star Keke Palmer) decides to do “Take 3” a favor that could put them back on the map in the all-new “Rise From The Ashes” spring premiere episode of STAR airing Wednesday, March 28 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
No matter who ends up dying as a result of the fire, we’re going to see just about everyone start to recover in their own ways from what happened. We do think that the episode title in this instance is incredibly significance just from the vantage point of the story’s tone and how this could eventually become a story of recovery and of characters trying to better figure out and understand precisely what the best way for them to move forward will be. Nobody ultimately has a whole lot of time to really think much about what happened and dwell on it; they have to move forward, largely because there will continue to be so many different issues at play.
From a guest-star perspective alone, we don’t think we have to reiterate a million times over that there could be some great things that come from seeing both LaBelle and also Norwood on board the show for this episode. Getting these big names around could help to soften the blow, at least on some level, from everything else we end up seeing.
