Blue Bloods season 8 episode 17 return date: ‘Close Calls’
Here’s what we know for now: The next new episode of the show is airing on Friday, March 30, and it carries with it the title of “Close Calls.” That is certainly something that makes us sweat, mostly because it suggests that something dangerous could be coming for one of the show’s major characters. Is there a situation coming that is causing one of the characters to start to sweat something out? That’s certainly something that you have to consider.
As for why we are having to wait for so long for Blue Bloods season 8 episode 17 to air, the biggest reason is simply this: NCAA Basketball. If you are a longtime viewer of CBS, then you are certainly familiar with this sort of thing. It happens every year!
Here is the good news: When the series does return to CBS with new episodes, it will have an opportunity to air new episodes every week for the remainder of the season. If the network opts to do that, what that could mean is that the finale could air as soon as May 4. However, if there’s a week off somewhere in there, the show could come to a conclusion on May 11.
What more do we want to see moving forward on Blue Bloods?
The video below should give you a little more insight on that very subject — for now, though, let’s just start off by saying that above all else, we really want to see Jamie and Eddie have a larger role on the show again. Beyond just that, we hope that there are going to be some opportunities to see characters like Frank and Erin outside of their element doing something completely different. Blue Bloods is a show that often falls into a routine; with that, there are many opportunities that the series has to keep us on our toes. Whenever it does break form, that’s what makes things all the more exciting.
